Introduced by Debra Lawrance. Part 1 (7 min) provides an explanation of the overall role of the school nurse. Depicts the examination of the new school entrant, liaision between the school and parents and other community bodies. Part 2 (21min) illustrates the work done by the school nurse in assessing the health and well-being of new school entrants. Medical terminology is used in this verbally dense program.
