Follow the clues! Our animation discovery trail takes learners deep into our centrepiece exhibition The Story of the Moving Image.
All primary learners who visit our exhibition during Children's Week can join the animation discovery trail.
After your visit, keep exploring by creating your own animated flip books and thaumatropes provided as part of your visit.
Positive start
If you teach in a priority school, we may be able to offer you an ACMI Exhibition bus subsidy to support your students' visit. Priority is given to students experiencing geographic or socio-economic barriers, rural and regional schools, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, students in out-of-home care, students with a disability, or students of refugee background. When you book, register your interest in the 'additional notes' section by writing 'Positive Start ACMI Exhibition bus subsidy'.
