Our 30-minute introductory talk shares insights into important themes and ideas about gender representation over time.

We explore how certain female archetypes have been valued in screen culture and film and what this tells us about gender, diversity and the power of the image shaped through Hollywood, Bollywood and beyond.

This talk includes exhibition entry to Goddess: Power, Glamour, Rebellion

Please note this talk is available only on Friday mornings during term-time.

Extend student learning by also booking a visit to our free centrepiece exhibition The Story of the Moving Image.
