Your donation to ACMI brings to life opportunities for students to explore ideas through hands-on workshops, communities facing barriers to experience ACMI, artists to develop and share new work, and supports the creation of new exhibitions and curated film seasons. Ways to donate

Individual donations

Gifts of any size directly support ACMI’s exhibitions, film seasons, workshops, and programs and ensure everyone can experience the stories, ideas, and creativity shaping our world. Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible in Australia.

AusArt Day

Donate to the ACMI School Access Fund on 23 October 2026 to help Victorian school children access ACMI with subsidies for tickets and transport. To donate click here.

A pledge allows you to spread your giving over multiple years, providing vital, ongoing support.

Major Gifts

A major gift of $10,000 or more enables ACMI to open up new opportunities – from commissioning artists and curating cinema seasons, to supporting conservation projects, launching prizes, updating equipment or creating mentoring opportunities for young people.
