Hear from the creative team behind the award-winning children's animation series.

Originally commissioned by NITV in 2017 and featuring in our centrepiece exhibition, The Story of the Moving Image, Little J and Big Cuz was the first animated series made for Indigenous Australian kids by an Indigenous crew.

For this special in-conversation event, Bryan Andy – host of our First Nations Film Club – is joined by the members of Big J and Little Cuz's creative team, including writer Dot West, director Tony Thorne, producer Ned Lander and animation director Neil Salmon to discuss the conception of the series, and the critical involvement of First Nations writers in bringing it to life.

Please note: Due to unexpected circumstances Clare Madsen is no longer able to participate in this talk.
