As darkness descends over the Melbourne cityscape, join us out on Fed Square for Carl Theodor Dreyer's haunting foray into horror paired with an unsettling score by Chiara Kickdrum.

Guided by mysterious shadows, a young wanderer with an interest in the occult happens upon a manor. Shortly after he arrives, he discovers that the daughter of the Lord is unwell and appears to be dying, but a mysterious text reveals that she might be turning into a vampire.

Join us as Melbourne-based DJ and composer Chiara Kickdrum presents her original score live on stage for Vampyr, directed in 1932 by visionary director Carl Theodor Dreyer.

This very special free performance is co-presented with Fed Square. Arrive early to grab a deckchair or bring your own chair or picnic rug.
