In Vendee (western France) in 1799, Barnaud invades the estate of Lomanach with a group of Republican soldiers. Before the Revolution Barnaud used to be the estate manager of Lomanach. Monique, daughter of the owner, attempts to seduce Barnaud in order to kill him and save the estate. ‘Les Revoltes de Lomanach’ was France’s first widescreen feature presentation. This version is presented in standard screen ratio 3:4.
