Filmed around the world, this documentary is a patient observation of animals in their natural habitat. It is also a plea in favour of conservation and the creation of animal sanctuaries as the creatures of nature face the biggest enemy in humans who pollute and show callous disregard for the sanctity of wildlife and conservation. Awards: Grand Prix de la Commission Superieure Technique, Cannes 1970.
Credits: Directors, Michel Fano, Gerard Vienne, Francois Bel ; photography, Jacqueline Lecompte.
