A young man is pushed into a dare by a girlfriend and has to steal a piece of jewellery. Interrupted in the act by nosy neighbors, he must abandon the gems in a guitar at a music shop. When he returns later to get hold of the jewels, the guitar has been sold. Musical performances by the ‘pop idols’ of the era: Charles Aznavour, Nancy Holloway, Johnny Hallyday, Sylvie Vartan and Frank Alamo.
