A documentary which sets to film great passages of prose and poetry relevant to the struggle of World War II. Spoken by Sir Laurence Olivier, the quotations are taken from the writings of Camden, Milton, William Blake, Robert Browning, Abraham Lincoln, Rudyard Kipling and Winston Churchill.
