Dot (Lyn Pierse) is a modern, confident, single woman who writes for a local soap. Content with single life, Dot finds a number of ways to fend off her mother who desperately tries to ‘hook her up’ with various migrating male folk, but Dot is summoned by the boss at the eleventh hour to save a failing plotline… As she and the crew hash-out potential scenarios her personal life escalates in Romance. But will love continue to bloom or will the fanciful story take-over? Contains footage of Melbourne (St.Kilda, Royal Botanic Gardens, Brighton Beach and Victoria Market).
