An aging artist (Laurence Olivier) and his two young companions, “The Mouse” (Greta Scacchi) and “The Freak” (Toyah Willcox) find their idyllic life suddenly interrupted by the visit of a young art critic (Roger Rees). Based on the book by John Fowles with screenplay by John Mortimer.
