Starstruck 12-year-old Theresa (Yasmine Bleeth), a streetwise orphan, is determined to find fame and success in the show-business industry but it is not until she meets up with Buddy (Buddy Hackett), an aging vaudeville performer, that her dream finally becomes reality.
