A story of love and loyalty between a young man and his horse until the outbreak of WWII when Tex (Marshall Thompson) joins the Seabees and has to leave his beautiful mare Bess behind. Tragedy strikes when Bess dies giving birth but Tex, stationed on a small Pacific Island, finds new hope and friendship when he becomes acquainted with another horse, one that turns out to be a good-luck charm. Cast includes George Tobias, Clem Bevans, Donald Curtis.
