Complement your visit to ACMI’s Game Worlds exhibition with a FREE educational talk designed for students in Years 6-9.
Make a day of it at ACMI – join us for a 45-minute interactive talk where we’ll delve into some of the ideas, themes and videogame worlds explored in Game Worlds; ACMI’s latest blockbuster exhibition.
In this session, ACMI Educators will explore with students how game worlds are forged and often remolded by those that play them, using student-friendly examples from the exhibition. The talk will engage students interested in worldbuilding and get them thinking critically and creatively about videogames.
Important notes:
Recommended for students in Year 6 through to Year 9 due to complexity of ideas being explored, rather than game content, however Year 5 and Year 10 students are welcome.
Please book your Game Worlds school visit before registering for this talk.
