ACMI presents

Love and Thunder: fans and superheroes

Talk

Celebrate superheroes, fandom and cosplay at your museum of screen culture.

Before the Thor: Love and Thunder costumes leave ACMI, we take a closer look at the relationship between superheroes and fans. Join our panel of pop culture aficionados, as they discuss the phenomenon of fandom, including the mainstreaming of fan culture, the popularity and activism of cosplay and its convergence with fashion.

Show your love for your favourite superhero in cosplay – there will be a fabulous prize for the best costume of the day!
