Flinders Street trams
Routes 70, 75 and The City Circle stop on Flinders Street next to Flinders Station.
Swanston Street trams
Routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67, 72 stop on Swanston Street next to Flinders Station.
A taxi rank is located across the road from Fed Square outside Flinders Street Station.
Tickets for our cinema sessions, ticketed exhibitions and events can be purchased in the following ways:
Visit our calendar to purchase tickets or buy them from exhibition, film or event pages.
Visit the Ticket & Information Desk at the Fed Square entrance.
Concession tickets can be purchased by people with valid concession cards.
ACMI Members receive discount prices on some films or events. Become a member.

Getting around ACMI
ACMI has three levels: Galleries level, Level one and Cinemas level. Please see below for maps and information about what is available on each level.
Here you can find the Information Desk, Screen Worlds, the entrance to Gallery 1, Gallery 2 and The Cube. Enter via Flinders Street.
Here you can find the Ticket & Information Desk, Cafe & Bar, Shop, Australian Mediatheque, Studio 1 and Studio 2. Enter via Fed Square.
Here you can find Cinema 1 and Cinema 2. Enter via Fed Square and take the stairs or lift (next to the Cafe & Bar) up one level.
Cloakroom and lockers
In some Gallery 1 exhibitions, large bags, backpacks and luggage may need to be placed in our free cloakroom before entry. For more information, please see our terms and conditions of entry.
We also have self service lockers located on Level 1 for a cost of $2. These lockers are single use only and accessible during opening hours, which may vary from day to day.
