Videogame

The Play It Again II project aims to document, preserve, and create an accessible and playable history of Australasian videogames and videogame culture from the 1990s.

This collection comprises physical games and hardware donated to ACMI for the project and as well as game emulation files created by ACMI or harvested from external web repositories.

The project is being undertaken by ACMI in partnership with Swinburne University, RMIT, AARNet, UNESCO PERSIST and OpenSLX GmbHt.
This project is supported by the Australian Government through the Australian Research Council Linkage Program. Play It Again II is a continuation of Play It Again I, which focused on the preservation of Australasian videogames from the 1980’s.
